Qualifications for MembershipA candidate for active membership must be a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology or have received certification from an equivalent qualifying body acceptable to the Executive Committee of this Society. Active members must practice in New York City or within a one hundred and fifty mile radius of New York City.A candidate for Associate membership shall be a physician who is a resident in radiology or in one of the sections thereof of an American Medical Association approved training program in New York City or within a one hundred and fifty mile radius of New York City. Upon completion of training and certification by an appropriate qualifying body (see above), Associate members must apply for active membership in the Society or be dropped from the rolls. A candidate for membership in Allied Sciences (radiologic physics, radiochemistry, radio-engineering, etc.) shall be certified by the American Board of Radiology if practicing radiological physics, or an equivalent certifying body, or be eligible for such certification or may be declared eligible by the Executive Committee on the basis of his/her qualifications. DUESDues for Active Chapter Members, Active Members, Associate Members and Members in Allied Sciences are $295/year. Dues for applying Resident Members and Fellows are $75. Apply for Membership |
